SYNOPSIS
How do you film this semi-limbo that has its own notion of time and history? This seems to be the question Nikolas Klement asks himself in his first film, a documentary that goes deep into a Mennonite community in La Pampa and portrays its everyday activities. Ekyprosis never picks up the countershot to “the others” –this is not a documentary that plays with contrasts. Klement’s interest never exceeds the limits of this settlement, and tries to capture a sense of tempo and montage, a perception of light and framing that stresses the state of extreme of physical, mental, and spiritual asceticism.

SYNOPSIS
This film portrays the nenets, which outlasted modernity representing solus that carry centuries of fight and tenacity on their back-vital source of studying and comprehension of nomadism. Is a work of scientific harshness and artistic imagination; a fusion between the power of logic and the one of the aesthetics. The arctic substance and bodies own the same capacity of not being merely psychological alibis that might inhibit or restrict the man's expression and its state of mind.
The nenets are placed upon an unlimited space where they merge tiwh an immense inert mass, reflecting the idea of distance and vastness, the dissolution of man into its enviroment and the modern world, which is rapidly becoming one single global village.
Their looks get frozen on a fixed point in the siberian horizon. Time and sorreow tend to subjectivity. Ixion's Wheel starts to spin.
